Description:
This is a signature Burmese side dish. Purely addictive combination of flavors. An excellent protein complement condiment for rice. Delicious when tossed with steamed vegetables and cream cheese. Music by Mujaji. Recipe at www.helladelicious.com.


Ingredients:
Peanuts

Onions

Garlic

Ginger

Turmeric

Oil

Chili powder

Fish sauce


Preparation:
Slice the onions and garlic. Fry to crispy in oil with turmeric.



Heat oil, add pounded ginger and crushed peanuts. Stir continuously. Add chili powder. Turn off heat. Add fish sauce. Allow to cool completely.



Mix peanut and onions and garlic together and bottle tightly. Keeps indefinitely in airtight container.
