Description:
Delicious hamburgers served with home made french fries.
Ingredients:
-Cheeseburger
-1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1 large white onion
4 tomatoes
1/2 pound cremini mushrooms
1 bag of lamb's lettuce
2 tablespoons olive oil
5 hamburger buns or your desired bread
cheddar cheese
italian seasoning
salt & pepper
mustard & ketchup or preferred condiment
-French Fries
-1 pound small potatoes
4 tablespoons olive oil
sea salt
Preparation:
Cheeseburger
1) Slice tomatoes, cheese, onion and mushrooms (clean mushrooms before slicing).
2) Saute onion and mushrooms with olive oil in a skillet until tender. Set aside.
3) Shape meat into 5 good size patties. Season with italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
4) In a big skillet, cook patties to your liking. Once one side is nicely browned, flip patties to cook the other side. Splash in a little water if you find the bottom of your pan a bit dry.
5) When patties are almost done, place cheese on top to melt.
6) When done, place cooked patties with cheese on hamburger bun. Top with sauted onion and mushrooms, tomatoes, lamb''s lettuce, mustard and ketchup.
7) Serve warm.
French Fries
1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place an empty baking pan in the oven to heat.
2) Wash potatoes thoroughly. Cut potatoes in quarters then place in a bowl.
3) Coat potatoes with olive oil; mix together using your hands.
4) Line potatoes on heated baking pan and sprinkle sea salt.
5) Place pan back into the oven to bake for 20 minutes or until nicely browned. Flip tomatoes once or twice while baking to make sure it doesn''t stick on the pan.
6) Serve warm with burgers.
